Max Collett

Max grew up at Hr. Buffett in Placentia Bay , where he played for traditional dances.  He  now resides as a retired teacher  in St. John's. 
He plays button accordion, concertina, tin whistle, and does some vocals. Previously, he played  professionally  with the dance band "Just Us".
When  Max is not playing music, he and his wife Brenda  pursue another hobby  boating on Conception Bay.


George Jarvis

George Jarvis was born in Clarenville, TB, but, being a preacher's kid, lived in various communities in central and eastern 
Newfoundland. He currently resides in Conception Bay South with his wife, Lorraine. He has a picture framing buisness and
 art gallery there where he teaches watercolor painting. His paintings and woodturnings are in many private and public 
collections locally and internationally. He started playing guitar at the age of fifteen and played bass with several rock and 
roll bands through the 60's and 70's. George plays electric bass, boudhran, resonator guitar and banjo with Kilmainham. 

Frank Davis

Frank grew up in Carbonear and started playing guitar aroung age 15. Back in those days the music of choice was folk and country and hence thats where Frank spent most of his music focus. Irish music played a big part in Franks early days at MUN where The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem were very popular. This enthusiasm overflowed into university time spent at Nova Scotia Technical College in Halifax and later back in St.John's during the Ryans Fancy and Sons of Erin craze that turned The Strand Lounge in St.John's into a pilgrimage site for Irish music fans. 

Jim Power - Lead Singer


Jim was born at Freshwater,PB,but grew up at Fort Amherst where his father was lighthouse keeper. He is a retired high school teacher and now 
resides in Goulds with his wife, Maureen, and their children, Alethea and Edmund. With Kilmainham he sings and plays guitar.

Keith Cooke


Keith was born on a farm in South Branch, Codroy Valley, but grew up in Bishop's Falls, in Central Newfoundland. 
He now resides in St. John's,  where he has worked in the Information Technology industry for the last 22 years.
Keith has been playing the guitar from an early age, when his musical interests were mostly rock and folk. Since becoming 
involved with the guys of Kilmainham, he has rediscovered his Irish/Newfoundland roots. These days he mostly plays
mandolin and provides vocal harmonies to the band's sound.

Gar Dale  1943 - 2008

Gar grew up at Fort Amherst and resided at Cowan Heights in St. John's with his wife, Sandra. 
He is was  employed as the Plumbing Inspector with the city of St. John's.  With Kilmainham he played guitar and sang.
